Home decoration : ideas and inspiration
Decorating a home requires an overall vision of the desired ambience. A decorator by trade, the owner wanted a bright house that made her feel good.
Light inlets
This is why there's a large living area with a flowing combination of office, living room, dining room, convivial island and kitchen. To let in light all day long, large bay windows open onto the garden. Windows have also been added to the ceiling.
The view of the garden and swimming pool makes for a dream setting.
The outdoor environment : a priority
During her search for the ideal place to live, our owner focused on a number of criteria. In particular, the views, the outdoor environment, the proximity of neighbors... Then, to renovate everything and create an interior to her taste.
The materials used in this house
Once the volumes had been defined and the major work completed, it was time to decorate the interior. Our owner chose the right furniture and materials.
For example, in this house, to reflect all the sun's rays, wood and white were chosen throughout the living area. The overall coherence of the space is very pleasing.
Every detail counts. In fact, the Ethnicraft wooden chairs are a perfect match for the back of the island in smooth natural oak wood. And the white Naturally Sheepskins cushions are a perfect complement to the white elements.
The continuity of color and material is also noticeable on shelves and worktops.
Deco brands to remember
For the office corner, we find this magnificent corner table and an AMP.PM rug matched with Tine k Home chairs.
In the living room, we find the same AM.PM carpet as in the office, with two matching coffee tables, Bed and Philosophy sofas and small Charles Eames wooden chairs. All enhanced by the colors of the home-made cushions.
For the poufs, we're staying with AM.PM for the large one, and Tikamoon for the smaller one. The light grey floor is from Bernard Céramics, and the worktop is a Silestone Blanc Maple quartz, installed by PMG marble works in Genas.
Wood and white are timeless elements that we love. Our smooth wood fronts in pure Natural Oak are a perfect match for all the other woods in this house.

Concerning the cost, the price of our doors for this island varies according to the finish and specifications you choose. For a 60 cm wide door, the price can range from €180 to €280.
