IKEA and Leroy Merlin x Bocklip: the shopping list

But now, 6 weeks and 4 shipments to IKEA/Leroy Merlin later, you've got to face the facts: you're still missing two hinges, you're not sure what goes with what... No need to panic ! We've put together this little guide to help you make the right choices and save yourself a lot of trouble !
Hinges : the basis
Whatever your plans for an IKEA or Leroy Merlin hack with Bocklip fronts, don't forget the fixing hinges you'll need to buy from IKEA or Leroy Merlin.
For METOD pedestals - IKEA
You'll need Utrusta hinges.
For vertically-mounted doors, get hinges with shock absorbers and an opening angle to suit your needs: 90°, 110° or 153°. Count on 2 hinges up to 80cm high, 3 hinges for 100 to 140cm. Beyond that, you'll need 4 hinges.
For horizontally-mounted doors, you'll need Utrusta hinge sets for upward opening; you'll need to drill the holes to accommodate this type of hinge, using the template supplied in the hinge set box.
For PAX pedestals - IKEA
You'll need Komplement silent closing hinges. Count on 3 Komplement hinges for a 201cm door, 4 for a 236cm door.
For BESTA pedestals - IKEA
For once, you'll need Besta hinges! Sold in packs of 2, these hinges allow silent closing and opening by simple pressure. We recommend adding handles/knobs to the doors to facilitate opening.
For DELINIA - LEROY MERLIN pedestals
You'll need Standers brand " kitchen front hinges "; there are 6 different references. Sold in packs of 2, you can choose between hinges with and without dampers. Count on 2 hinges up to 103cm high, 3 hinges for 138cm fronts and 4 hinges for 215cm fronts.
For EVO'M - LEROY MERLIN pedestals
You'll need " Standers hinges for SPACEO Evo'M housings "; there are 6 different references. Sold in packs of 2 or 4, you can choose between hinges with or without dampers. Count on 4 hinges for fronts 204.8cm and 230.4cm high; 2 hinges for heights 38.4cm, 64cm and 102.4cm.
Good to know : IKEA and LEROY MERLIN pedestals come in a range of colors, so don't forget to coordinate colors to match your facade.
Customize your IKEA kitchen with Bocklip
In the kitchen, Bocklip lets you customize METOD pedestals and Maximera or Exceptionell drawers (which have an integrated push-and-pull system).
For METOD pedestals, remember to buy the feet. Sold in sets of 4, they are height-adjustable and add stability to your furniture, while being cleverly hidden behind one of our plinths.
To conceal your dishwasher behind a false drawer front to ensure continuity with the rest of your composition, you'll need Vaglig connecting bars to secure your fronts.
Finally, if you're installing a spice rack, remember to keep the template supplied with the IKEA sliding system for drilling our fronts.
Customize your Leroy Merlin kitchen with Bocklip
In the kitchen, Bocklip lets you customize Leroy Merlin's Delinia ID pedestals and drawers.
The 10cm legs are sold with the pedestals, so there's no need to buy them. If you'd like 15cm legs, they're available in packs of 4.

Remix by Leroy Merlin in the bathroom
The Bocklip collection lets you customize REMIX pedestals. As these are sold with fronts, all you have to do is buy the simplest (and therefore least expensive) ones, and let Bocklip take care of the rest !
Good to know: the fronts supplied with the pedestal must be replaced by your Bocklip fronts during assembly. If you wish to cover the sides of the pedestal, you will need to opt for a custom-made vanity top to cover the thickness of the side panels.
